Tire Pressure

2019 Greyhawk 29 MV. The door tells me front pressure should be 75psi and rear 85. Well I'm going to have to send Amazon more money because the 4 tire pressure gages I have will not fit in any of the rear tires for reading the front tires both read 49.7 49.8
None of the tires look low so are 75/85 maybe high ??

This is the gauge I have and keep in our 2018 Greyhawk 29MV:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It was expensive but cheap insurance as far as I'm concerned. It's worked fine for me, although I will admit that checking the real duals is a pain, but I do it like clockwork and use a flashlight to make sure I'm going on the valve stem correctly. The MH doesn't move until I check the tire pressure for all six tires.

Any big truck stop will carry the gauge you need

To my knowledge, tire gauges and the valve stem diameter are all a standard size, so unless all your gauges are an odd configuration, or the small cheap pencil size giveaways, they should fit. The tire pressure listed on the yellow sticker on the drivers door is the pressure you should be using. If your tire pressures are actually in the 40's or 50's, I would be concerned that there is a problem with the tires or valve stems, and I would not drive the MH until it is verified and corrected.

Perhaps the type with the short hose would be more appropriate?

I bought that exact same gauge and it works on my 2019 Jayco 29mv. I take the hub caps off when i do my air. If your tires read 49# on multiple tire gauges then yeah they are low. I fill mine to the specs on the door too.

I bought this dual head gauge made by Slime at Walmart, but here is the same one on Amazon. It has a short hose and I have no problem getting to the rear stems.

We do most of our fueling at Love's Truck Stops and about once a week, we'll use the "Tire Pass" just to have someone else check the tires. We try to keep all at 105 PSI, cold.
