What is this?

Okay, so I saw this picture of one of the storage compartments on a Seneca and I have never seen this in other Senecas. Does anyone know what these access panels are for?

Looks like a access...have you tried to open and look inside? Maybe for the slide mechanism or slide electrics.

It is not on our 2015 Seneca... It appears to be the drivers side forward big compartment - based on the slide hardware.

I wish I could open that panel to see what it is but I clipped this pic off an internet picture. From all the Seneca pictures I've seen, this is the first time I've seen these panels. Notice it's next to the inverter...

Must be a customization as I also note there are two overhead lights further back in the bay.

There must be something behind it on a regular Seneca that this makes access easier?
