I have always been more than a little worried about the amount of electrical rat's nest and connections under the bed of my Greyhawk. Should a fire start, for whatever reason, in that location, my wife and I are sleeping directly above it. Lithium batteries burn very hot. Being an RC flier I have see aircraft with that type of battery ignite and nothing short of major fire suppression stops them. Different chemical makeup but still lithium and dangerous.

So make your choice with safety in mind. It could be a major decision.
Most 5vers have the batteries mounted in the front storage right under the bedroom.
RC lithium is totally different.

I will be doing 2 victron charge controlers. For 4 x 305 watt 36 volt panels. (Already have those) I will also do a Victron inc/chg multi plus 2000.

Does any vebtilation need to be added? Electric fan?
I'm running 2600w solar through single Victron 250/100 controller. It's a 240v system with GoPower 3000 I/C which is a true 50a transfer. With soft starts on the A/C I can run one unit, or microwave. I was pulling 180a with microwave and water heater on 110v. 550ah Valence Lithiums.

You're not too far from doing the same.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated on the best locations to place all the new equipment.. Pictures would be awesome.
Best place I can recommend is in my front storage in our 5th wheel😁😁😁

Great gift. Yes, would need to know what unit you own... Maybe it has already been posted as I have not seen all the comments.

I was thinking "my wire rat nest looks worse than his" but after looking closely at that pic I think mine are at least connected properly.

Are the wires labeled "Solar"?

Does the block of wood serve any purpose, or just left in there for maybe wiring insulation or kindling?

Yes those are the solar wires from the roof. The block of wood supports the panel that covers this area under the bed as the storage is on top of it. I also found heating duct that was smashed half shut from being stepped on.
