Thumbs up Champion Power Equipment 75531i 3100 Watt Review

I just had to tell all of you about our experience with this genset. We are primarily full hook-up campers, but on occasion we are boondocking. As we start getting into the summer months I realized cooling the camper would be an issue that would need to get addressed. I bought the Champion Power Equipment 75531i 3100 Watt generator after seeing numerous recommendations on Amazon and on this forum. I took it out for it's maiden voyage this weekend and I can't tell you how impressed I was with this generator. It powered my A/C with no problem and everything else I threw at it. It was even able to power up my Coleman Mach 15 15,000 BTU air conditioner with ECO mode ON. This was a big deal to me because conserving fuel is important with such a small gas tank onboard. I will be adding an extended run-time kit to it soon, but it hasn't been an issue yet. I also chose the non-frills model for weight and maintenance.

Pros:
Quiet
Powerful (enough to power my 15K BTU A/C)
Reliable (starts up first pull everytime)
Relatively lightweight

Cons:
Small gas tank

The reviews and comments about how great this generator is are spot on.
I'm very very impressed with the quality and feel this was an excellent purchase even if a bit pricey (although not extremely so). If you are looking for a solid generator for a reasonable price THIS is your generator. Feel free to ask any questions.

Happy Camping!

Interesting....I've been holding out for the price to drop on either the 3500 or 3400 watt just because I didn't think that the 3100 would be enough for a 15k BTU A/C. May have to revisit this...thanks for the review [emoji106]

I have put my 3100 thru it's paces. I have run my construction tools with mine and it has never failed me. Light enough to put it in my truck and quiet for camping. Best bang for the buck

A little more money, but I went with the remote start model. It's really nice to have the push button start. I went with the Champion because I couldn't find a reasonable price on a remote start Honda or Yamaha.

I like the generator, but I do find it to be a little on the loud side.

We just picked up the remote start 3400 Model #100261, at Bottom Line Trading. $957 with free shipping. They are an authorized dealer and VERY customer oriented/friendly.

Champion Inverter Generators

Tommy was our contact.

Will add comments after we've put it thru the paces as well.
