I really don't believe there is one, unless you have a three-way fridge. If that's the case, can't help you anyway,

If it's a demand heater like mine, there is an on/off switch behind the outside cover. It says it is a 12 volt circuit. I read about this somewhere, but not in the manual.

No such thing as a 12 volt water heater. Here is why:
it takes a lot of enrgy to heat water. To heat your 12 gallons of water one time in your Pinnacle water heater, would consumes all the electricity stored in your batteries. The twelve volts supplied to the water heater is for ignition of the propane.

I'm not familiar with your specific unit but usually the wh switch is a rocker switch. one way is 120v, the other is gas( which is controlled by a 12v control circuit.)
The middle or neutral position is off.

In all honesty, there are many different switch arrangements. Unless someone has the same one as your, it will hard to locate the switch.

Just wanted to clarify if all the different answers are confusing you.

There is a single on off switch marked water heater 120volt just inside the door on the wall.; the water heater is gas and elect. the manual just says to turn the switch on and the red lite will come on and then go out when the unit lites. there is 12volt wiring going to the heater, torn the place apart and still can not find the switch.
