2021 Eagle HT 29.5BHDS

Just took delivery of our new fifth wheel and so far we love it. This is quite a step up from our last camper, a 2018 Jayflight 224BH. Rhones RV in Cogan Station, PA was excellent to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone in the area that is looking. Click image for larger version

How does the new 12v fridge hold up compared to gas evap? How loud is the furnace and HW heater in its new location under bathroom? We have 2020 version and looking for info to compare each. Friends of ours looking to puchase a 2021 and so far info is lacking on web. Even Jayco website doesnt have updated specs or photos .

Is that a window in the front cap or just the new paint/decal scheme?

Very nice. Did you special order this coach or was it in dealer inventory. We have a 27RS on order with no idea how long it will take to get here.

This was in dealer inventory, however I put a deposit on the unit 3 weeks before it arrived on their lot. We had looked at a 2020 over the winter at the Pittsburgh RV show so we knew what we wanted and this had all the options we wanted and the price was great. We also watched a Haylett RV YouTube tour of a 2021 and loved the exterior graphics and what they did to the inside. We have a yellow lab so the fact that the main slide is now carpet less is great and we love the fact that autoloevel is now standard.

If not too much trouble can you let me know the dimensions of the bunks? I have a Grand Design TT bunkhouse unit that has "double over double" bunks like the 29.5BHDS but the bunks are only 44 inches wide and hard to fit two children. Looking at this unit and wondering if the bunks are any larger?

Bunks are about 74 long by 56 wide. Rated for 350 lb each.

We are taking possession of our new 2021 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5BHDS next week and are having difficulty figuring out how much weight we can add to the trailer. We have a new 2021 F350 Diesel Lariat, brand new to 5th wheel RV'ing and going full time. Any idea how much weight we can add to the trailer and still be in the "Safe" zone? Never had to figure out anything like this before.

There is a sticker on the curb side of the trailer that will provide GVWR and weight from the factory. It also provides max carrying load (I.e., how much weight you can add to the trailer). Similar information is on the inside of the main entry door.

Yes, but that pretty much tells me I can't put much into the trailer at all. We are four adults living full time in the trailer for now. I'm really puzzled about that weight.

We have a 2021 Jayco 29.5BHDS. No problem with the water heater/ furnace noise. Our 12 volt fridge never worked right since purchase would cool for a while and then would not be able to start back up. Changed out control board and after several trips back to dealer jayco finally a green to replace fridge. The new 12 volt fridge is great and a lot of room inside. Guess we just had a lemon or a fridge to start.

The GVWR or gross vehicle weight rating is based on full load. So all tanks and propane full. The UVWR or unloaded vehicle weight rating is the weight with nothing in it save for 2 propane tanks.
