2021 Pinnacle

My Pinnacle is nearly a year old and the Stacy Stewart recliner has a broken armrest. I was simply shifting my position on the recliner when I heard a crack and about 2/3rds of the way towards the back on the right armrest has no support and it is possible to push the upholstery in that spot down into a hole about the size of a grapefruit. Is this a warranty item? Is it possible to upgrade to a more solid and comfortable recliner.
Has anybody upgraded the recliner with something more comfortable and better built?

If you purchased the Pinnacle new, the 2 year warranty covers the furniture too.

As for changing out what you have. I have no clue. Others might have some experience. That would be a good discussion with your dealer and Jayco.

If you're the first owner probably a warranty claim. We replaced the couch and love seat in our previous fifth wheel with a La-Z-Boy set. Both were recliner types with removeable backs which made getting them in the door much easier. We went with cloth coverings as something about leather/vinyl is just not comfortable to me.

Any furniture will work as long as it fits the space. Contrary to what some think, you don't have to use RV furniture in an RV. Go to a decent local furniture store and sit in some recliners to see how the feel. Look how they're made and take a measuring tape. All recliner backs come off. They're made that way for more condensed shipping.

I did the same thing in my 5th wheel but I will be trading it on for a MH by next week.
