I stopped by my dealer yesterday for an update, while I was there he looked up my build and mine is still showing as being in progress. We talked a little bit about the slide toppers and it is his understanding that my unit is still being built with them. My order was placed in late April, just a few weeks before yours. We discussed your situation and the information you were given regarding the slide toppers and he assured me that if it shows up without toppers they will be installed prior to my delivery as that is how I ordered it. He did not seem to be too concerned about it either way.
So mine is in the process of being built, it is just not complete as of yesterday.
Looking forward to hearing how your delivery goes.
What options did you choose?

Both 32" TVs in bunkroom and master, 2nd power awning, 23 cu inch fridge, theater seating, sani-con turbo waste .. that's about it besides the luxury and convenience packages.

Yes, mine is a 2017 too.
We ordered it with the theatre seats, thermopane windows, moreryde pin box, maxxis tire/ wheel upgrade, TV's in both rooms, freestanding dinette, couch in bunk room, 2nd awning, BBQ, 2nd AC, 12 cubic ft propane fridge, backup camera, 4pt levelling jacks, and the slide toppers.
Basically everything except the tankless water heater and the macerator system.
We are also having the dealer install the Winegard Traveller DirectTV system and a Splendide W/D combo once the unit arrives.
My guess is one of the options we ordered is in short supply which is causing the delay.
In any event, I was prepared for this. We have ordered trailers before and this is how it goes. Hurry up and wait... then all of a sudden it shows up out of the blue.

2017 355mbqs
We are having one shipped to Colorado, hoping to be here by this Friday. Would love to see the newly redesigned bunk room and loft. I will look at the 377 for an idea.

I tow my 2016 with a 2003 GMC Duramax 2500 CC. Tows the 5th fine. I added AirLift Airbags to the rear, but find I may not have needed them. I only run 20-30psi in them. Still dialing the psi setting in for the best ride.
I am right at GVWR for the truck on a 3-4 day weekend trip, and am just over I would guess when packed for 8-10 days. I do have 265/75 tires on the truck, and am under the 6800lbs RAWR by a fair amount.
Truck handles the weight fine. Plenty of go, and stops fine as well.

Thanks, I'm thinking we will be borderline, and will be conscious of packing. We are a family of 4 and often go for 3-12 weeks at a time as we are able to work from home. Another reason for upgrading to the 355.

Mine is on a seasonal site, so only gets towed to the site one time. I'd think the 2500HD with the Duramax would be okay though, as long as you are careful with packing.

FINALLY!!! The first 2017 Jayco Eagle MBQS I've seen advertised with pictures! Not the same options as mine, or maybe even yours, but it DEF gives us an idea of what we can expect. Here's the link.....

They took the window out above the stove/counter area. Not sure I like the coat area as much, but I love what they did with the bunk room and loft area. We ordered ours with the trifold sleeper sofa vs gamer chairs in bunk room.

I am glad I dragged my feet and waited for the 2017. I'm also excited about the loft and bunkroom layout. Having said that, I wish Jayco gave you the option to just have two regular bunks with maybe a trundle pull out (for a 3rd when needed) in the bunkroom. I'll be building a bunk on the bottom and storing the two game chair cushions, minus the backs of them, underneath.
Post pics of yours when you get it. I'm interested in seeing where the quick disconnect faucet/hose is located. I see it in one of the pics above but don't see the connection. Guessing it's in that storage area or the one next to it. I think I'm going to miss my outdoor sink that I currently have.

Will do. We also currently have the outdoor kitchen sink and use it often. I'd be interested in seeing your bunk house mod when complete.

I'm not positive but I believe the quick connect washer hose has a connection point on the main valve assembly.
