377 water pressure

I did what the warning label told me not to. I forget I had already turned water on and I switch from dry camp to city water. Now I have low water pressure. Was wondering if anyone knows what I messed up before I start tearing it apart.

Hopefully you didn't do any damage and maybe the valve just didn't (internally) turn all the way. My suggestion is to turn all the valves to make sure they seat properly...without water pressure. Then set the valves up properly and turn on the water. See if the pressure changes. If it doesn't change, you might have to start looking for a leak or get in behind the panel to see what's going on. That's all I got after 3 beers! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks, I cut water off and reset but no change. I'll try again tomorrow maybe something will reset or unstick. Have another cold one. Think I'll join ya

Try pressing the one way inline valve behind the screen on the water inlet. Who knows, I’m in as deep as Dan.

I’ve had my 377 for 2 years now and know I’ve crossed that line a time or two, cuz I turned all those knobs every which way and have not discovered low pressure from known high city pressure if that is your situation. Hopefully it should get back to normal.

I discovered something interesting with the 377 at a state park with low pressure (we were park hosting at maintenance at Pedernales Falls SP in TX, it’s the first faucet downhill from main water tank, so not much pressure), I had filled the fresh water tank (took about an hour for 75 gal), set the knobs to Dry Camp, left the white hose connected with pressure on (faucet gets about 35-40 psi at 2’ hi off ground) and turned house pump on. It seems with this configuration, the 377 can decide on its own to either pump from the fresh water tank if not enough city pressure, or use city water if pressure is adequate, all from this one setting. Is this a standard thing with fifth wheels, or am I lucky?

I think you are lucky..........LOL

If I remember correctly, I had put some water in fresh holding tank and did not change settings to dry camp. Seems you can still turn pump on and water works without having settings set for dry camping??

I did this very thing 3 months ago and broke a valve. All my water filled the tank and I couldn't turn to pump setting for the valve wouldn't switch so was up a creek without water (hehe)

Sorry to hear that Kahoneys. I wouldn’t have thought those valves could break on you that easily. You did say you got it fixed?

Found my problem. Case of the dumba**. When I packed up the outdoor kitchen to come home last trip I knocked the faucet on wide open. I replaced the shower faucet and hooked water up to test for leaks. Thought low pressure was due to incorrectly swapping dry camp to city water with pressure on, but the sink in the outdoor kitchen was running.

The price of fame of having the only 377 with an outdoor kitchen sink.

Whatever you do, just don’t forget the black tank flush on (adding to the level for a better dump) before you pull the black lever! Not happened to me...but I did leave the shower on to fill the grey 1 tank one time and it overflowed into the hallway. Lesson learned.
