Andersen Ultimate hitch

Those who use the Andersen Ultimate hitch, what do you use to lock the fiver pin box when unhooked from your TV? I've looked all over and can't seem to locate a lock for the Andersen.

Happy RVing,
Jeff

I have this hitch and love it! But I keep my trailer in a locked storage lot and have full replacement insurance. So I have decided not to worry about it. But if you type in Andersen hitch lock on Amazon, one comes up. It is $189 but looks to be very well built and quite hefty. If I were to get one, this is what I would get. Has high reviews there. Hope this helps.

I just don't worry about it. A would-be thief must have an Andersen or a really tall gooseneck ball or take the time to remove the kingpin adapter . Plus I got insurance. On another forum there is areal paranoid naysayer that constantly brings up how he can put locks all over his hitch .
I have had mine for over 4 years and unless I bought a really heavy 5er(24000+) have no plans of changing. I have had bw,Reese , & a Ranchhand gooseneck.

I don't use a lock. If you sleep better at night, get one it is your money.

A quick search on YouTube will show most locks for regular trailers are not worth the time it takes to put on and off.

If someone is going to have the truck, and correct equipment to steal a 5er I don't think a lock will stop them.
