To me it sounds like a poop pile. After you dump, you need to add a lot of water to the tank. How much depends on tour tank size. If you have a 50 gallon tank, I'd add about 10 gallons of water. Also periodically I add some liquid fabric softener, or water softener. If you have a dry poop pile, the water softener will help loosen the pile.

With the new tank treatment they just bought, which works as advertised they can add nothing to the tank that they can't eat or drink. The treatment is 100% natural.

We use the regular Costco TP. It dissolves very good w just a bit of water. Recommended by the RV Flush guy.
I put a hair strainer on the shower drain and clean it after each shower. This helps prevent hair clogs.
That toilet bubble is due to the clog. Not sure about the vent. We had that same bubble in both toilets and were told its the early warning sign of a blockage.

So glad to have found this thread. We have a new 2017 36FBTS and are having the same exact problem. Have tried EVERYTHING from YouTube. Now waiting for the mobile RV service guy to come and clean the front toilet out. From now on, we'll follow the advice in this thread to use the lower toilet for "serious" business...go easy on the toilet paper...and use A LOT of water in the tanks.

Please let me know if you ever had any more problems with your RV!

Well, found out yesterday after having continuous problems with this toilet, put a camera down and found that Jayco doesn't even know how to plum a toilet correctly the fittings are put together improper so you have a ridge to catch the tp so it plugs up the line, contact Jayco and have them do the plumping correctly. All 36fbts should contact Jayco with the front bathroom issue and have them plum the connections correctly.

Thanks for the reply. It's been a couple of years since we had so much trouble with the upper bathroom toilet. To clear the clog we ended up using an exterior sewer pipe cap with a hose connection on the exterior sewer pipe and blasted/filled the tanks from the outside with a lot of pressure and finally dislodged the material. Before doing that, we put a good amount of Odoban in the tank from above to make things "slick". We were at a campground and the owner had rental units so he told us about his "go-to" solution for this problem and let us use his sewer "cap".

What made it work is that his dump station had a grate instead of a pipe so we filled the tank and then took the cap off and let the whole full tank slosh out at once. It was an incredibly disgusting process, but so worth it to get the system working again. Since that time, we have not put ANY T.P. in the tank and we haven't had anymore problems. That was such a nightmare!

bath toilet pluggs

I have the same problem, decided to spend the money and buy a camera to look down the pipes, what I found was Jayco incorrectly installed the sewer drain pipes as they have a lip at the joints which catch the crude and eventually plug the line, my pinnacle is a 2015, so apparently they still haven't learned the proper way to install waste pipes as I am a retired Engineer. The only way to correct is cut out the connectors and install properly, then the problem will go away.
