Is anyone with either of the Overlander Solar Packages having charging problems with their tablets? Not sure if I need to start worrying about it and turning the tablet off in our Eagle when we store it between trips or not. It is outside in mostly sun storage and we have the Overlander II package. We've had it a month and so far every time I check the battery on the tablet it is 100% even when it's on trailer batteries. The solar has been keeping the trailer batteries at 13+ volts.
On a related note, I asked Jayco what to do with the solar over the winter and they said if it's going to be below freezing to cover the panels (plywood is best??) and unhook and cap the cables from the panels and take the batteries out of the trailer and store them (we have lead acid). But, if it's not going to get cold, don't do anything with them. Just leave them be. Interesting.
