Bottled water pump

I知 thinking about bypassing the under the sink water pump to the residential refrigerator. The pump is very noisy when the icemaker feels. I知 thinking of hooking it directly to the cold water line instead. Has anyone done this? 2020 Jayco eagle 355mbqs

Most rigs are done that way. They do not have a pump for the ice maker.

As Cavie said, that is how the rigs were all connected until a couple years ago.

I don't have the residential, but I'd put a filter on it if you don't already have one.

I had the dealer install this feature at purchase and it works great. Other than the dealer cause a huge flood from the install.

I'm assuming you have the Jayco bottle system. I did the bypass with my Pinnacle. I didn't like the room needed for the bottle in my storage bay plus, like you said, the pump can be noisy. I just took the outgoing line from the pump and used a PEX T with a shut off to attach it to the cold water feed for the sink faucet. I can't remember how I did it but I had to reduce the T part of the connector down to a 1/4 inch.

The pump under our kitchen island fed both the refrigerator and a spigot on the sink. The refrigerator has its own filter but not the spigot. I recently installed one for it under the sink. With the whole house filter in the wet bay I figure I have enough filters.

Watts makes a 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/4 "T" for just that.

You're a good man, Mr. Grumpy. I'm enjoying my recliner time with my morning coffee and too lazy to get up and go out to our rv garage to see exactly how I did it but it was something similar.
