Angry Coleman Mach 8 air conditioners

I had a Coleman Mach 8 heat pump installed on my 2007 Designer 5er yesterday, and the unit is horribly noisy. Called Coleman service warranty at 316-832-4357, and they told me there was a 3 blade fan kit that quieted the unit down by 6db. Even though they knew about the problem and had a fix for it, they would not provide the kit under warranty (this unit was brand new yesterday). My recommendation to Jayco owners, is DO NOT BUY ANY COLEMAN MACH 8 PRODUCTS.

That's what JAYCO is using for the PINNACLES and ours isn't bad. There are two fans the one that for the cool/heat is a squirrel cage blower. The bladed fan is for the condenser. Maybe the ones JAYCO have already have the new fan blade???

Call back and, when they refuse to provide the kit under warranty, ask to speak to a supervisor. Repeat until you get acceptable results. If you not get the results you want, then file a claim with the BBB. While most people claim the BBB doesn't do anything, I've had fairly good results doing so.
