I have a 2010 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel. I've lost power to the GFI. Can anyone give me an idea of what to check. There's power to the 110 volt wire that runs to the last receptacle on that circuit. but no power to the GFI. I hope this makes sense to someone. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

You mean GFCI. Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt. The one on our 2017 North Point 377 RLBH sometimes trips for no apparent reason during transit. Do you see a red LED lit on the kitchen island GFCI? Or wherever the outlet is located. It must be reset. Ours powers the outlet in the bathroom.

Also check the breaker box at the converter for any switch that may have tripped.

Thank you for responding. What I'm saying is that the GFCI has no power going to it.
However there is power from the circuit breaker to the last outlet in the circuit. I can't understand where the GFCI gets its power from.

Check that the lines at the last outlet are all secure. I had one off and it interrupted the rest of the circuit

do you mean I must have a receptacle in place. I had disconnected the last one and wire nutted the wires

Sounds like you might not have the right circuit. Are you sure that is the last receptacle on the GFCI circuit?

Our GFCI receptacle is in the kitchen and it is connected only to the receptacles in the bathroom and outside kitchen.

PS when you wire nutted the lines did you connect all three? Was the ground wire connected to a ground in the area of that receptacle? If so did you reconnect it to the ground?

I didn't place the wires together. I'm going to try and get a wiring from Jayco.

If I can I should be able to understand what might be going on. Thank for responding. Conrad

Sounds like you need a new socket. GFCI's do go bad. That's where I'd start. What's a few dollars? That will eliminate the socket being bad if it continues. Then you can concentrate on the rest.

Just my two cents, we just had a bad ground issue at the frame on our new redhawk and was creating all kinds of electrical issues including gfi and gen charging system

GFCI certainly gets is power from the breaker box for sure, but If you’re saying the GFCI is up stream on the same line, and the last outlet has power, it points to a faulty GFCI is to blame. You can do a continuity check with a meter tester on a new one and the old one to compare.
