Factory installed toppers

We purchased a 2019 Eagle 355MBQS in April and ordered it with slide toppers installed at the factory. When we went to pick it up, the topper on the bunk room pulled out of the exterior wall of the slide-out. Dealer removed it, repaired the siding, and re-installed it "right" only to have it start to pull out of the slide-out a month or so later. This time we were told the new factory installed toppers have brackets that don't keep the topper far enough away from the siding and it ends up rubbing and catching while the slide-out tries to extend and retract. This time they replaced it with an after market topper and we've had no troubles since.
But now we have our big slide-out (kitchen) starting to act up. It starts to extend, then stops, but by releasing and pressing the button it will continue. I went to look at the topper and sure enough, there's a bow in it and while it's off the siding at the ends, it's up against the siding in the middle. Could that topper be the the cause of the slid-out stopping when trying to move? I see the same bowing on the other long slide-out but not on the shorter BR topper.

Anyone else had trouble with the factory installed toppers?

Thanks!

I am taking my 321RSTS in on Monday for the same issue. My dining slide has the same problem. The factory mounted the bracket into the side wall with no support behind it and it has pulled out of the fiberglass. On the LH (drivers side) side, all brackets are mounted up on the trim that has support behind it. On the RH side they mounted it only into the fiberglass side wall. Another assembly issue that proves they have no process control or Quality control!

Thanks for the feedback. Was more curious if folks had seen the bowing of the toppers rubbing up against the slide-outs and if that had any impact on function for them. Thinking about having them removed and replaced with after market hardware to keep them off of the trim.

That is exactly what happened to my awning. As it rubs and binds, it pulled the brackets out of the side wall. Reason for the failure is Jayco mounted the brackets to low and not in the correct location.
