Generator prep question

Hello,
Just ordered our new Pinnacle 36KPTS. We are still deciding on if we should go with a generator or just the prep. Can anyone tell me if the prep comes with the transfer switch? We have a generator in our 2014 Pinnacle that we might transfer to the new unit. Anyone ever try that?
Looking forward to 2021!

All geny prep comes with the transfer switch and associated wiring. Only issue maybe that the new units are set up for propane genny's so you will probably need to buy a gas tank and install it.

Like said, prep is everything you need. Except the exhaust. Your 2014 onan LP? If not it can be converted to LP. Jayco gen prep is LP since at least 2017, unless a toy hauler.
