What are my options, if I accidentally dropped a lid (plastic cup) from an air freshener, into the toilet/black water tank? I was hoping that the diameter of the plastic was small enough to allow it to "flow" out, but we have not seen that happen. Is there a way to retrieve said plastic, or will I need a new tank? What might be an average cost for adding a new black water tank to my Jayco Melbourne?

You won't need a new tank you shoud be able to get a plumber(or similar) with a enclosed space camera to see if it's still in the tank. I personally think that it will flush out since it is smaller than the diameter of the pipe. Unless you are dumping directly into a dump spot without using a hose I don't think you would see it coming out anyway, even with a clear elbow attached.

If you have a 5 gallon bucket, try pouring large quantities of water through the head with the drain open or closed. The turbulence and flow may get your object freed up to flow out. It helped me out of a "jam" once....lolz
