Kitchen counter popup electrical outlet lost

Was wondering if anyone has had their kitchen counter popup electrical outlet disappear into the cabinet leaving a hole in the counter? Evidently one on the rings broke causing it to fall into the abyss of the kitchen counter where I can't get to. Another piece of crap from Jayco that broke. If this has happened to you, how did you retrieve the outlet? It's under warranty so I'm not really gonna waste my time cuz I don't have a replacement. I'm sure they'll have to order the part and wait six months to get it in and installed. We've never even used the popup outlet and only had it popped up at PDI. Great.

I’d pull out the drawers and unscrew the panel that’s behind them and grab the outlet which is probably just hanging by the chord. Mine comes unplugged now and then, so I’m reaching back there somewhat frequently. I bet it’s something you can fix yourself with less hassle.

So JAYCO made the outlet that broke?

They can be bought on Amazon or at a big box home improvement store. (maybe it won't take long to get)

I had thoughts of installing one myself to replace an oddly placed outlet.

I didn't say Jayco made it. But Jayco installed it. And probably cranked down on it at the factory.

Today was just a travel day and I have been in a sh**y mood. I pulled the drawer out and saw how it was put together and came apart and found it on Amazon. Since I sent pictures the service dept is gonna go ahead and order on for install in a couple of weeks.

Glad that worked out... sort of anyway. Understand the mood. Especially when this stuff happens.

Thanks for the heads up on this; we use ours a lot when not doing food prep. We'll keep a close eye on it.
