What wheel bearing grease is everyone using on Lippert axles??

Need to clean and repack wheel bearings and want a really good grease.

Thanks

It’s probably just as HOT in Texas as it is here Tom. Really don’t even want to mess with them, but I don’t trust the morons at Lazydays that supposedly checked axles and brakes on it 2 years ago.

Was hoping to do disc before now, hoping to someday.

I use Timken. You can either buy it in the can Timken GR224TUB Grease or buy it in tubes that fit a grease gun.

I asked Lippert, and their response was

"Any grease rated NLGI #2, certified NLGI CG-LB... we use Citgo Lithoplex during production..."

Hope that helps... along with old clothes and several rolls of paper towels or shop rags!

I bought a bearing packer for $20 on Amazon, money well spent, stores grease, just press and it fills the bearing full after cleaning out old grease, no greasy mess. https://www.lislecorp.com/specialty-...bearing-packer

When I converted to disc brakes I "upgraded" the chinese junk that came with the kit with Timken's. I use Amsoil grease in mine.

Another vote for Lucas Red and Tacky here. I also replaced all my bearings with American made Timkens. I did this immediately after bringing my camper home and prior to my first trip!
