Newbie
Hello, I am completely green on everything RV but learning daily! Recently purchased a 2015 Pinnacle 38FLSA as my retirement home and love it but struggling through the learning curve. I have the owners manual but it is clearly written for the seasoned RV'er. I need operation and function help. A/C return filter location and cleaning, Remote control by front door that does something but have no idea what! Step by step instruction on initial setup and getting it ready for travel, ie slides, landing gear, levelling, etc. I'm considering paying a tech to come do a walk through but I have budget concerns on that. Any advice or help? Thanks!

Welcome.
Return air filters are on the ceiling under the the two vents, one by the stove other one by the dinette. The rear a/c filter is in the ceiling assembly above the bed.
The remote will control front 4 slides, awning and patio lights.
DS means door side, other is OD, opposite door, which is the road side. When we had our's I never used it.
You can download the leveling manual here:

There are lots of videos and help on youtube. I try to stick with the ones from RV dealers/technicians, as anyone can post a youtube video. ha! type in your question and see what pops up. I have learned a lot, as I was a newbie as well.
and this forum is great as well

thanks, Grumpy! I figured out the awning part and had no idea what OD, DS, etc was! Still can't figure out light! I've been opening control panel and using that. Had some condensation coming from those 2 vents, checked AC pan and it was fine. So I don't know now.

Grumpy, I meant to ask, do you have any idea why so much condensation may have come from these 2 vents? Especially since drain pan was dry?

It's most likely humidity related.

Wow, that's some rig to get started with!
This website has a arrival and set-up checklist:
RV Arrival & Setup Checklist: Trailers
Of course the getting there and backing into a site has it's only challenges. My best advise is take it slow, don't let having to make multiple attempts frustrate you and have a second set of eyes outside giving some guidance.
