After an exhaustive search on brands, layouts, and features we have decided to move forward with Jayco. We have a 2018 3500 SRW Duramax Crew Cab 4x4 with cargo capacity of 3,600. We beleive with family, hitch, supplies in truck we will be around 800-900 pounds. Pretty sure we can tow any of the HT models pin weight wise and are looking at the 317, 319, and 321 on the Eagle series. Anyone see any issues with this set-up, B&W Companion? Not sure if we need Timberans or air bags but safe weight is my first concern.

Welcome to the forum. You will be good with those you mention with a 1 ton, I have the 321RSTS towing with a 1 ton.

We have 321rsts and haul with F250 diesel crew cab slider hitch.
Usually just the two of us in truck. Aux fuel tank in the box. Nothing else. Backseat usually some jackets. We are under the max weights on our truck loaded to go. We don't boondock so limited fresh water in trailer. No genny. No firewood. Watch what you load or you will go over the gvwr for the trailer. If you fill fresh water that weight is all over or behind the trailer tandems.

We pull a 351RLTS with a F350 PSD, SRW and it is well within weight limits. We moved down from a DRW and never missed it.

My tongue weight is 2800 on my rig. The truck has extra capacity over that and our load.
