I'm suspicious that the plumbing to the front quick connect spray port on my 330 RSTS is dripping. I definitely have a leak in the front storage box below the port. Since I've been at my currently location, it hasn't rained or been dewy but there is still some active dripping in there. I checked up on the roof and along the front cap and all the sealant looks to be in good shape.
Does anyone know if there is access to inspect this plumbing? Can I disassemble the closet where the washer prep is located and get to this? It looks like I could pull the spray port itself, but I don't really want to go that route if I can get to the plumbing from the inside.
Morleyz,
I just got my 2018 28.5RSTS back from the dealer and one of the warranty items that was repaired is this exact issue. I don't have the paperwork with me, but I seem to remember them saying that they accessed by removing a wall in the outside storage area right by to the spray port. I seem to remember them writing something about removing saw dust from the connectors and re-assembling it.
I ended up taking off the false wall in the washer/dryer prep closet. Water was dripping from the PEX side of the connector and unfortunately I don't have tools to fix this with me. I rigged up a funnel and hose that are draining out the bottom of the camper for now. At least the storage bin can dry out now.
I used to carry a couple of Shark fittings for this kind of thing. 90 deg and straight. The tools are cheap enough and compact. Available at most hardware stores.
