North Point 377 RLBH - Which Year?
We are shopping for a 377 RLBH and not opposed to purchasing used over new--to avoid some of the depreciation punch.
Looking for advice on which years to steer clear of. Wasn't there an issue with cracking on the MBR slide? My husband is willing to fix whatever needs to be done but we want to steer clear of any frame/structural issues.
I'm not sure if we should narrow the search down to only '18's or if '17's are a good potential, too.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I think all 16-18 models of the 377 have had the MBR sidewall crack. I’m not sure if it is a design flaw or a bad luck of the draw thing. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to whose trailer cracks. Those of us with cracked sidewalls all have different year trailers, different trucks, hitches, amount of usage.
My advice is get one that is in good shape and do a thorough inspection.

I love my 16 but would only trade up for a 17. That is when they added some light switches for the dinette light and the one by the theater seats, and put in the drawers in the bunkroom under the shower. The 18's and 19's have gotten rid of some cupboards and gotten rid of the auto raising TV for a manual one and deleted the rear bumper.

Someone had a 2019 North Point with the crack. Saw someone else that claimed the rear cabinets and ceiling fell down in there 2019 Pinnacle. I have also seen examples of the crack on Jayco Fifth wheels as far back as 2008.

I have a 2017 377 with no manor issues so far a year into owning it. But a guy I work with has a 2018 he bought near the same time as me because I found a leftover 17. His had the crack and several other issues. It's in the shop right now.

My '17 doesn't have the drawers in the bunk room, but it sounds like a good mod for the 377 mods page that Magnolia Tom started! I do have the rest of the items you mentioned though!
And, knock on wood, I don't yet have the aforementioned crack!

I think it was 1/2 way through the year that the drawers showed up. I forgot to mention that in 18 the Outdoor Kitchen got a lot bigger also.
I have the crack but Jayco is covering all costs to fix and I am out of warranty!!

Besides cost reasons, the 16-17s have a larger front storage hatch. I preferred the tan over the new colors. Lots of little upgrades supposedly as you get newer. As seen here many of those are very easy to do for $10-20,000 less. I bought a new TT a couple years ago and won't do that again. Granted I have already fixed/fixing a few things on my new to me 16 377 in 2 months of ownership. Put a 3rd ac in and go.

I have a late '17 and it has the larger outdoor kitchen, the drawers and still has the cabinets over the recliners that I think they dropped on the 18's.

I wish I had the larger front storage. Seems
like wasted space. I looked in there and there is structure so maybe it was an attempt to stiffen things up.

Thank you all for the comments, I really appreciate it!
I do like the larger outdoor kitchen hatch in the newer ones, but DH doesn't really care. I guess there's no reason not to go with a '16 or '17 if we can find a good deal on one. We just want to maximize our $$ as best we can, as I'm sure you all understand.
