Question Opinions about my Landing Gear probs

Last time we were camping we had a terrible camp site (pretty healthy slope down towards the front. My wheels were chocked but the LG really struggled to raise the front of the 5th and the LG motor clutch activated a few times. I figure the slope had put the legs in a bind. When we got home I lubed the legs with what seems to be the current procedure. Removed the inner drop legs, cleaned and dry lubed them. I retracted the driven legs and greased the jack screws with the plastic tube fitted with a grease zerk. I greased the top beveled gears and cycled the legs down and up to distribute the grease. With no load the legs moved down/up easily with no binding. Reassembled it all and called it good.
We are camping for the first time since and the legs seem to be still struggling, the clutch is not slipping (ratcheting) but the 12v breaker (auto reset) is opening several times during extending under load.
So, did I bend the legs (I don’t think so as there is no binding with no load and my inspection during greasing didn’t reveal any damage), is the breaker “weakened” (cheap easy replacement), bad ground (will check when we get home) or is the motor wearing out?
Of course the LG are Atwood and they no longer make LG, but I’ve found references indicating other brand motors may work.
TIA for sharing your experience, knowledge and opinions!

You MAY have damaged the legs on the slope. If the coach was heading downward in the front, imagine the travel of the legs. As the unit lifts in the front, the legs torque and wanna push the pads forward to align with the coach but couldn't. Possibly bending the legs. It doesn't take much.

Theory only...
