Picked up our new 28.5 HT

Took delivery of our new 2018 Jayco 28.5 Eagle HT today! Reluctantly traded in our 2017 White Hawk 27DSRL. It served us well for the past year. We decided we loved traveling with a camper so we traded for a little larger model. We were given a great trade in allowance for our 27DSRL which sealed the deal. Spending this weekend organizing the stuff. Now comes the agony of waiting until spring!!!

Just wondering what kind of hitch you all have in your 3/4 ton Ford? I have a 3/4 ton Dodge with a #2700 Pullrite 16k hitch and I'm going to have to do a axle flip and maybe more just to pull my 5er level. I've already moved my pinbox up as far as I can go and only gained 1.5"
Thanks
Chris
P.S. Congratulations on your new Unit, and welcome to the 28.5 club!!

Congrats. We did the exact same thing! Traded our 16 27dsrl for a 2018 28.5 RSTS HT.
Why wait go camping now. Do the shake down and see what may be amiss, hopefully nothing. Have fun.

The dealer installed a Pro Eagle 16k hitch. 1621 Lippert pin box. The FW came with 16" Goodyear Endurance tires and Mor/ryde suspension. Raised the Mor/ryde suspension to the upper hole and dropped the leafs to the bottom hanger. Everything is level and we have 6-7 inches clearance above the rails. Better than we expected because we have the off road version with 20" tires and the top of the bed rails sit at 60".

Oh yeah sweet, I know that we just pick up ours 5th wheel this past Aug which wasn't enough time to enjoy it but we did do a 2400 miles trip to Vegas but it just wan't enough. We are going to take it in for warranty work Nov. 6th which is a 300 trip one way though. Awesome setup.
