Pinnacle 36KPTS kitchen slideout

I’m looking at purchasing a used Jayco Pinnacle 36KPTS fifth wheel. The large drivers side kitchen slideout (holds tv, kitchen counter, and fridge) seems to have a slight lean down and outward. Is this typical in this particular unit or is it an issue? Also, is there adjustability built into the design of this slideout that allows this to be fixed or adjusted?

Likely normal. When slide is extended, the interior slide trim should sit flush and even with the interior wall from top to bottom on both ends. If you see trim gaps at interior top or bottom, that's not normal.

I notice the slightest ever gap in the wall on the bottom. It is pretty small and rv mechanic I had come look said the same.

Our kitchen slide tilts out also. Has from day one. I had to put 1/2" bars under the stove grates at the rear to more or less level the pans on the stove top.with no problems.

That said, I chose to live with it rather than take a chance of having it screwed up more by having the dealer or factory try to remedy the tilt.

Five years now (I hope I didn't just Jink myself).

Is yours a similar model to the 2018 I’m looking at?

Got it. I have seen other folks who report the same. We do have a problem getting the slideout to come in, which ought to be a motor or slide system issue vs. the angle or lean that the slide seems to have.

The slideout seems nice and level from the outside for sure. The inside has just a very small difference in the interior trim to wall at the bottom.
