Pinnacle walk in shower

We are ordering our Pinnacle 32 RLTS on Saturday. There is a video on line from Jayco that is advertising the 2019 Pinnacle model will have the new walk in shower. I have yet to see any 2019’s for sale with the new configuration. I’m definitely asking our dealer about this on Saturday. Anyone here have an idea why some of the 2019’s don’t have it yet?

Only certain floor plans of the Pinnacle and Seismic Toy Hauler have the new walk in shower. The 32RLTS is not one of them.

No offense to those that have this new shower, but in person it isn't all that the photos and videos show it to be.

It looks like stone tile on the walls, but it's really flat a vinyl sheet.

You lose the linen closet that would normally sit where the "walk in" entrance now sits.

To keep the water from spraying out the entrance, you have to bend down to flip closed a knee wall.

Anyway, just my thoughts after seeing this new design in person at the Hershey RV show.

Walk-In Shower

We picked up our 2019 Pinnacle REFS in June. It does have a walk in shower that is very spacious. The walls are lined with a vinyl material that simulates stone tile. The walk in opening has a half glass wall that slides shut to keep water in the stall while showering.

Think I would need a coffee first before shower so I'm wide awake and don't trip on that " low down clear " sliding wall.

Why is the new shower better than the old rectangular one with the 3pc sliding door?

Larger, fancy, and up in the times. Very popular shower in residential homes in the last few years. Wish my 293RKDS had one. The shower is tiny. The built in seat hogs the shower up too. Mainly wish mine shower was wider. I'm always hitting my arm on the glass door or the wall.

You can't say up in the times in an RV thread. LOL

The interiors of most RV's are about 20 years behind in interior design. Not sure vinyl that looks like tile is considered fancy. Extra size would be okay but I have enough room in our rect shwr now.

We just bought a new 2019 Pinnacle with this shower, we like it so far. It has a lot of room and as long as you close the small lower glass no water issues. The size is the best thing about it, just feels like a normal shower in the house.
