Depends on trailer option. Was it prewired at factory you should find wiring near centre marker light. If not just tie into the centre marker and run with running lights on to power camera
Just my 1/2 cent

I found the prewire and mount fine. I just don’t have any power going to it. I’ve read a lot that say it has a power switch in an exterior compartment but can’t find one

Ok my switch is in the unidock. Orhets have said it is in the battery compartment. If you cannot find the switch wire it into the marker light.
Just my thoughts.

Mine is located in the battery compartment. It is a rocker switch.

On our eagle 321rsts we have a compartment on driver side basement for all the water and tank hookups. Rge valves for switching from city water to on board tank and tank drain valves are all in the unidock. It also has the cable/satellite, solar and the on off for the rear view camera. Has a second switch for the on board water tank pump.

They used 3 different sources over the last few years. Switch by the batteries. Switch in the docking station. Power off the running lights.
My 2017 Eagle 293RKDS has the switch in the docking station.

This all makes sense ordinarily but my camper has the setup in the bedroom so you can watch your cam in bed. But who has their running lights on at night in the campground?
My running lights don’t even work unless hooked to the truck.

They dropped the ball on the bedroom deal. They switched over to the running lights but still put the sticker in the bedroom by the power port.

I plugged my truck in and cam works with lights on. Thanks all.
Still would like to know how I’d watch it plugged into the wall in the bedroom...

That's what I meant when I said they dropped the ball. You can't use it in the bedroom unless the running lights are on if that's how they power the camera. On those units the sticker shouldn't of been put on the wall.

Pull the bedroom light switch and look for an orange cable in the wall. If you find it pull it out. Chances are that it’s unterminated. That’s the constant power source for the observation camera. You can quick tap that wire into the constant power side of the bedroom light switch. You will need to pull the camera mount and move the red camera power cable out to the orange wire tucked behind the mount.
