Rear stabilizers external control switch

We have a 2015 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 BHS. There is an external switch which extends or retracts the rear stabilizer feet which is now intermittent (works some of the time, but not all of the time.) It is mounted on the right side of the lower body, just in front of the bumper (see attached photo.) Anybody have the same problem? If so, did you resolve it? Details please!

It may be a switch intended for inside applications and the contacts are not as conductive as the once were or may have just worn out. Maybe spray contact cleaner (might be messy) or a new switch (weather proof).

Thanks for that! Yes, cleaning could be messy...and I'd still like to have a replacement switch on hand for the likely recurrence. Fortunately, the remote still operates the stabilizers. Finding the same switch may be a challenge! Jayco only sells parts through dealers, and Camping World (my local dealer, lucky me) is non-responsive so far...

If you have four terminals on the rear of the switch, I found a Jayco part number of 0218622. The description is "SWITCH,JACK STABLIZER ELECTRIC WITH WIRE HARNESS BLACK, LIPPERT".

That’s a good catch, JFlight and got me thinking. A search turned this up.https://www.amazon.com/Lippert-Compo...24232079&psc=1

Papa, it’s not particularly cheap but looks like it’d solve the problem. I noted it’s weather-proof.

Papafox, take the switch to a commercial appliance retail store. It's a dual position momentary switch and a good store should be able to match it.
