Mine stopped working and I had to pair it to the receiver. Extremely easy to do once you fid the panel. The dealer made sure he showed me where the panel was and how to pair it. There is a yellow light on the lower left corner on mine. Push the button (it was either the light or a button adjacent to the light) until it flashes, press to on/off button on the remote, then press the button on the panel again. Took longer to remove the screws for the panel than the process to pair. Apparently mine lost the pairing because the trailer battery went dead while being worked on by the dealer.(first trip minor issues)

Also changed the battery in the remote just in case it was the problem.

Anyone have a picture of the remote receiver? So far my remote is working fine. Does stop raising/lowering stabilizers occasionally but I never found anything on receiver or location of said device. What should I be looking for in my 2014 Jayco Eagle 33.5RETS and where should I be looking???

Do not have a picture but the receiver is a circuit board that was located behind an access panel on the rear wall of the storage area. I looked at some pictures on the web of your type of unit and I suspect it is located in the same place. The panel is on the door side rear wall of your storage area

I'm old school. If I bought a rig with remote slide switches the first thing I would do is disable them and throw the remote away. I want to be looking at the inside of the slide when it comes in and have my finger on a button.

Worked well for us for 10 years.

I agree, when I am brining the slides in I always use the switch, however, it is nice to extend the slides from outside when you have trees and other obstructions around to make sure you do not hit them.

When going out, I prefer to be inside in case something binds.
Just me.

circuit board

I had a problem with my bedroom slide on a 2012 Pinnacle fully extending all by itself. There occurred many times throughout the winter the first year I had the unit. I too have the remote control, and thought this was the problem. Turned out the circuit board was bad, had that replaced under warranty, and never had a problem since. A note first Jayco decided to change the slide motors thinking the motor wires were shorting out, but the slide came out again and again by itself, that is when they decided to change the circuit board.

Jayco is replacing my remote control board. I really appreciate the Service and responsiveness of the Dealer (Steves RV in Lacombe La) and the Company Rep. I continue to believe this is the best company in the business.

I have two remote controllers and both have an on/off switch on the side of the box. If the slides and/or power awning started to move on their own I would try turning off the controller and see what happened next. If it was an issue from a nearly camper using his remove it wouldn't cause me any problems.
