Shower Track Wont Drain

In our 16 Eagle the shower track never completely drains. Also its just narrow enough that it tough to clean out! Any suggestions out there?

Our Arizona room has aluminum, horizontal slider windows. Those tracks filled with water when it rained. I drilled small 'weep' holes to drain the water.

We stuff a paper towel in there and let it wick out into the shower drain. Even reuse the paper towel.

I used a Rat Tail file to touch up the groove. Drains good now.
