Squeaky floor 29.5 bhds bath

Is there any history of squeaky floor in 2021 model in front of shower?
It's not the shower doors or the shower pan. It's definitely the floor. Very anoying. If possible I'll fix it myself

We have a 2020 30.5 mbok and our bathroom floor squeaks. Tried to access from storage compartment, but no luck.

I have looked underneath and directly below is black tank. Makes it difficult to brace from floor.
I'm still researching others problems in this area.
I'll probably go to Jayco and see if there is any history of this

Must be the norm in the 29.5 BHDS. Our 2017 does the same very near the shower. Also the entrance in front of the door, and then also back by the bunks on the main floor.

We’ve had squeaky floors in our 2019 28RLS and in our 2022 34 RSBS. From what I’ve found and discussed with our dealership there is no easy way to fix.

This squeak is terrible. Almost anywhere in the bath. This must be something Jayco knows about. I noticed it in another demo model on the lot. Dealer here I come

I'm sure the newer ones are built the same as the 2017. Aluminum Floor Joists > Foil Insultation > Subfloor > Vinyl Flooring. In a typical house there are wood floor joists and the subfloor is directly nailed and glued to the joists. In the RV the insulation does not provide the ability to clue the subfloor to the aluminum joists. Plus the Joists are probably spaced further apart to minimize weight, which increases flexing in the subfloor.

I guess it's the price to pay for weight savings.

I know that you said it is not the shower door or pan. I have a 2021 29.5BHDS and thought the same exact thing. I thought it was the floor creaking underneath or the shower pan flexing and rubbing against something. It wasn't.

Turns out is was the wheels that ride in the bottom shower track. They are attached to a spring mechanism that allows them ride up and down in an uneven track. The two plastic pieces that make up this mechanism were squeaking when they moved relative to each other when the floor slightly flexed when someone walked by. I was shocked when I figured it out since I was convinced it was the floor.

There is a button on top of the mechanism that you push down to disengage the wheels from the bottom from the track. I sprayed a little silicone lube in there and the squeaking stopped. It is such a small amount of motion that it is surprising it makes such a loud noise. You can just disengage the wheels from the bottom of the track to see if this is your problem.

I removed the doors to eliminate them. It is the floor

Bummer that it wasn't the wheel assembly on the door. I had another squeak right by the pocket door between the bathroom and the bedroom slide. They use ramset nails to anchor the plywood floor to one of the main steel beams that runs left to right. The ramset had started to back out of the beam and I could see the top of it starting to deform the vinyl floor. The floor would flex and the plywood would squeak against the ramset nail.

There really aren't any good options for accessing a fastener in the middle of the flooring. I cut a small X in the floor and pulled the nail out. Problem solved.

Take a look in that area and see if you can find any fasteners (screws or nails) starting to back out.

I have the same annoying squeak in the floor of my 2016 Starcraft, but right in front of the kitchen sink.

Our bath floor squeak was in the same location. Do you have a “wall” in the basement underneath that area? We do and there was a gap between the top of the wall and the floor. I put a shim in the gap and the squeak was gone.

Sick day .... I'll use your advise and investigate.
For others out there, this isn't just a little anoying squeak, it's very pronounced and loud

I did do a little shimming and propping a 2x2 underneath. Nothing helped at all. One drawback is the exposed black tank is directly under the affected area

My dealer (so he says - we won;t be picking up for a month or so) indicates that he dropped the undercoating - plastic stuff. Found multiple spots wherethe screws from the factory completly missed the runners - re-screwed from underneath ??? We shall see

My 34rsbs has a couple places that squeak. The floor is solid, just a bit noisy. It gets worse in cold weather I guess due to expansion and contraction. We live in it full time and just get used to it. As long as the floor is solid I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt it is something that can be fixed.

2018 27.5RLTS squeaky floor

Right after we picked up our 27.5RLTS the floor between the bedroom and the bathroom started squeaking and kept getting worse. I complained to the dealer and he did find some screws that missed the floor beams. This did help some, but nowhere near a cure. I returned to the dealer and the 2nd time they pulled the shower, the wall between the bedroom and bathroom and screwed the floor to the floor beams properly. Then the floor squeak appeared to be completely cured......until we were camping in an area with low humidity. Now when I get back into normal humidity it's quiet.

I have a 2022 Eagle HT 29.5 bhds I have the same problem in the bathroom coming from the shower. I also have some pretty serious floor flexing on the left side of the bed. Has anyone experienced this?

These are some squeaky mo-fos for sure. This issue, especially with the newer models, is becoming more and more prevalent. Jayco will only warranty so much tech time also. It's a small but grossly annoying issue.
