Traded the Jayco

Well folks, last Tuesday we traded the Eagle HT. The wife wanted something a little roomier so, as the saying goes, "Happy Wife, Happy Life". Its been a fun couple of years with y'all.

If anyone wants to pick my brain on the Eagle HT 27.5 series, feel free to PM me.

By all means, stick around. No need to check out because you have a different brand of RV. Knowledge is priceless, and makes this forum as great as it is.

You're right about that JFlightRisk. I will still check in from time to time.

Good to hear, thanks. The outside may look different, but that doesn't matter at all. Heck, there are some here that don't have an RV right now.

very nice, you are welcome to say aboard. All these rigs are about the same.

That is a nice pad you have at home. Even your side walk up to it looks like it was planned for the new 5ver.

It's a 295RL 10th anniversary edition.

Ha, dumb luck actually :-) As you can see, I had to park the FW "off-center" to allow for the longer step system. And, we were lucky that the door location was similar to the previous Eagle HT.

Just checked out the floor plan of the Montana. The living room, kitchen and bathroom is similar to our 28.5RSTS, except reversed. The bedroom is much roomier though with the bed slide and all the dresser space. Wish we had that much space.

If you don't come around too often, I just want to say thanks for all your help through pm's and posts with my rig when we first got it. When I got the Jayco, the guys on the Forest River forum said to stick around, but have only been back once I think. Feels strange, like owning a Ram and being on a Chevy board at least to me.

OMG! You went to " The Darkside "!?!?
All kidding aside, nice trailer. Our first trailer was a Montana Mountaineer. It was a great trailer. When we go to the rv shows we look at everything and the Montana's still seem to have pretty good build quality compared to most of the other brands out there.
By all means please keep in touch on this forum. Issues and resolutions with different brands are still.helpful with Jayco's and vise versa.
Enjoy your new rig, safe travels and stay healthy and safe out there!

No problem SeventyGTX, it was a pleasure to help. If you run into any other issues with your Jayco, I will be glad to help through the Forum or a PM.

We've been looking at the Montana line for a while now and like them very much however my son just ended a 6 year marriage and his wife's name was Montana. Don't think I can torture him like that!!!
