Trailer Dolly & Kayak Trailer

Last Spring I built this dolly to use with a Parkit 360. Fabricated the dolly shown in black and a connected it to the Parkit 360. Use it to move my Pinnacle and boat around.

I have upgraded the Parkit 360 from the 10K to the 15K

Over the last month. Modified the trailer dolly into a kayak trailer. The front section is removable. The racks are removable. Added the storage compartments for all the kayak gear. They are size to hold wheels, pedal drives, paddles, and other items.

Should handle the weight of a kayak no problem.

Moved the trailer for the first time today with the upgraded dolly. Worked great.

The remote control is a nice feature on the Parkit 360 15K. It lets you walk on the sides and the back to check clearance.

Great piece of engineering. The adjustable tongue length is genius. With two pivot points, what was the learning curve for moving the 5er into place?

Nice work indeed!

I had the same thought about moving with two pivot points! Seems like I have enough issues with one, let alone two!!

The 2 pivots took some getting used to.

In the end, it works just like backing up the 5th wheel with a truck. I had to remind myself to look at it like that. A few times I got it wrong.

There is a slow and fast mode. In slow, very easy to correct.
