Water line issues. 377

I was replacing my filter and found this water line collapsed. This is the pick up line for the pump intake. Just replaced it with pex. Trying to figure out my water pressure problem.

Yeah, that can cause ya some pressure problems. Any idea why it collapsed? Some kind of blockage?

Is it possible the vents on the tank are blocked? If so the pump would collapse the hose.

Wow! Were you able to pull in antifreeze last time you winterized?

I live below I-10, my unit never freezes.
I am thinking if the pump is turned on and the valve to the tank is closed it may collapse the line.
I removed and replace with pex tubing

The other problem, Slide water line leaking. It has a cut in it 5" long in 2 spots. One under the slide and one under the stove. Not sure on the reason.

Oh yea, everyone replace your water filter. It makes a huge difference on water pressure to the fridge.
