weird heater problem

I have a 2018 30.5MLOK and whenever the heater clicks on the overhead lights flicker when the lights are turned off. I have checked all the connections on the heater itself and looked for a loose connection in the breaker panel and have found nothing. What am I overlooking?

make sure the ignitor wire is not near other wires...separate all other wires from the ignition wire...don't let them touch....had a weird problem once many years ago and that was the issue. this would be on the back side of the water heater.

X2 what Learjet said... get in the basement and clean up as much you can of the wire "nest" that most Fiver's have in the basement, especially around the heater and water heater, water pump, etc... most of the "erratic" problems I have had in our previous Fiver and current MH, is poor wiring, not bundled/shielded, or poor grounding.

If you are concerned with the flicker for the reason it is annoying at night, and if your lights are all LED and if they are replaceable bulb fixtures, then you could install one small incandescent bulb in replacement of one of the LEDs which should stop the flicker. As others mentioned the cause is often induced power so moving the cables around could help, and an incandescent bulb would dissipate any transient current.

If the issue is that you are concerned of a possible electrical issue and the flashing doesn't bother you but just your source of concern, then I wouldn't be concerned as what you experienced isn't all that uncommon. ~CA
