winterizing
Have a 2015 28.5 RSTS.
Drained system from low point drain, removed panel from storage compartment and pulled up the two drain fittings and drained.
Going by today and draining HW heater by pulling out plastic plug.
Going down to 19 F this weekend.
Anything else I should do ?

If you can blow out the lines, that would be good to ensure all the water is out or pump some antifreeze through the lines.
If you pump antifreeze through the water lines, make sure the HW tank is bypassed before pumping antifreeze in.
Make sure you leave all the facets open.
Don't forget about the toilet and outside shower to make sure water is drained out of those water lines.
Pour some antifreeze into all sinks and shower so some antifreeze is in the p-traps.
Hope this is of some help. I'm sure others will pitch in with their thoughts and ideas.
Good luck.

Avoid antifreeze with ethanol in it. Get the good stuff--propylene glycol and it won't dry out your faucet and flush valves.

I always use the plumbing antifreeze, pink stuff, makes it easy to do and isn’t toxic. Should have a winterization section in owners manual. Make sure your battery is topped up with water and a charge or remove it for storage. Should be good till it warms up again

I think these folks covered it all. I'm in Texas as well. Drain, blow, pour. One other thing I did was to run the water pump a brief moment to be sure it was mostly dry since I used the FW last trip out. Don't know if that's necessary, but made me feel better.

19 degs f in Texas, whats with that. Although that is warmer than the minus 17 here.
I thought that if we went south in the winter I would be able to de-winterize the camper before we hit Texas or ?? I guess not.

When we go to FL it’s a guessing game. In PA (our first stop) we stay winterized
In VA we feel a little better about dewinterizing. Maybe. Hence the 6 gal fresh water bucket.
We’ve got a small ice cube on wheels right now at minus 20

cold
Got a blowout fitting and pressurized/drained my FW today. DW said she was surprised at amount of water coming out of kitchen sink. Did all outlets including 2 low water spigots in storage compartment. Finished up with a cup of AF for each drain.
I feel a lot safer now that system is dry . I now know that just draining won't purge all the water out. For many years this would be all I did , guess I got lucky.
Also bought/installed a brass drain fitting for HW heater (Atwood). Was difficult to remove , having to take sheet metal baffle off to remove plastic plug. Now just open petcock to drain. HW heater has pop-off valve.

We have the same trailer. Don't forget to blow the black tank flush line. I'm hoping we got everything cleared OK, Looking at +7 tomorrow night and not above 32 for the following week.

Went out to my camper yesterday, blew out the water lines, and drained the holding tanks. Drained the water heater. Figured out the by pass valves for the water heater, and pumped the pink stuff through the plumbing. Normally, I just blow the lines out with air, but this week we will have temps in the 20's for 3-4 nights in a row. I was surprised and pleased at how fast the pick up on the water pump sucked up the antifreeze.
