Xantrex xm1000 inverter

My inverter will not switch over to utility when shore power is connected. It always power the refrigerator off the batteries. I have been through the manual and cannot find any information on this problem. It has been working fine for 2 years, always flipped to utility when the shore power was connected and back to battery when it was disconnected. I have checked the breaker and it is not tripped, the reset switch on the inverter itself is not tripped. Has the internal transfer switch gone bad. I have not be able to find any information on this. Anyone had similar issues?

Have you checked the wiring connections at the Inverter? Wire may have come loose, I think they are just "push in" connections.

I haven’t been able to get the front cover off the inverter. I have removed the screws but have not been able to get the plate off the inverter. I have not manhandled it yet. I can’t afford to damage the inverter while camping its the only thing running the fridge.

Also have you checked your voltage at the pedestal. If it's below 90 it will only operate on battery and the transfer switch won't kick in.
