My grandmother (fois dhut), used to say that the best therapy for a cold was whisky, and a hat.
You put the hat on the left bedpost, and drank the whisky until you saw a hat on both bedposts.
It didn't do anything for the cold, but by that time, you didn't care!
(My granny was a very proper little Scots lady, who never touched s drop of the demon drink.. but, in Scotland, whisky is medicinal... :-) )

We’re lucky. The DW has worked at her job from home for the past 4 years so no change for her. I retired at the end of last year so I do small projects around the house, take a nap, watch a re-run or two. We both work in the yard and spend some time swimming laps in the pool and indulging in an adult beverage when done. We can easily slip out to the backyard and tend to the FW or open it up and pretend camp. There is a State Park 1 mile from the house that is still open for camping. May give that a try just for a change of scenery.

Been working from home for the past several weeks. I'm in the financial services industry and it's been crazier than ever, especially since a number of my team members are in Italy and India.

I’ve been just relaxing not doing much when I’m not working. Food the past six weeks I’ve been working 48 hour work weeks.

We are 11 days into self-isolation and it is really upsetting me to witness my beautiful wife standing at the living room window gazing aimlessly into space with tears running down her cheeks. It breaks my heart to see her like this. I have thought very hard about how I can cheer her up. I have even considered letting her in... but rules are rules.

Lol. When she reads this, though, I bet you’ll be switching places

Almost time to start cutting the grass here. If it stays warm and sunny, we will have to in a couple of weeks. I've got a brand new JD x570 sitting in the garage waiting to get dirty.

I must have the cleanest vehicles in the neighborhood! I washed my truck and the DW's vehicle twice this week...and it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I guess I'll be washing them again next week!

You could clean my truck too. That’s time it got cleaned was when it rained. Working 6 days a week I don’t really feel like doing anything resembling work on my day off for the week.

I'm with you...and I've been working all week too! Just don't like being stuck in the house all day!
Edit: I should add that's its me and 3 women...2 of which are teenagers!

It looks like people will need to get even more creative with your "off" time. They just extended the social distancing timeline to April 30th....
