On our 2015 Seneca, on every screw that goes into our sidewalls - there is a backing plate in every location. For cabinets, shower walls, even closet shelf supports. I found that in every case where a screw attached something that penetrated into the wall - there was a backing plate found on the schematic.

I even took a stud-finder to the walls and confirmed the locations.

They’ve changed their manufacturing process, because it’s not that way now. My headboard was stapled to sidewall, pulled out. TP holder pulled out, door holders pulled out. No backing to any of these items screws to the walls

Well that makes me more thankful that we have a 2015 - before the big corporate changes that impacted workmanship and quality so much in the later models.

Now I am feeling bad about my earlier post... I was really sincere in that I hoped that Jayco would do a good job for you... Now I hope you don't think I jinxed it...

Yep, looks like the headboard was hung with small finish nails or large staples. I will check it out a little more this weekend.

I went out and looked... Ours is attached with screws, countersunk into the headboard with the typical wood plugs covering the screw recessed. Our headboard is made of mostly 1x4 or 1x6 hardwood...

ditto for our FK.
Had they used Scotch Tape, I think it would have held up better.

The Auburn/Cord/Duesenburg Museum in Auburn, IN. is worth the trip also.
