Basement Floor Leak - Fix?

So last year we noticed when we travel in rain our basement floor is wet, we figured out why and it's not the doors leaking. Turns out our basement floor isn't really well secured to the chassis and we're convinced that's where the water is getting in. I can actually lift the floor up from the bottom... Okay so no worries, we just need to remove both sides, clean it up, and put a new bead of ??? down and look into securing it with some screws.

So my questions are, any recommendations on what sealant/adhesive we should use? How are these supposed to be secured to the floor? With screws or is it just the sealant/adhesive?

Thanks,
Jeff

I had leaks in certain areas of mine when new but my plywood was secure, is it in the carpeted area? Where it gets in is there are gaps on the bottom and back side, between the plywood and metal frame. I used Black ProFlex sealant and laid a heavy bead along the seal and filled any large gaps and then smoothed out with a gloved finger. Havent had any wet bay since. A lot of out other compartments were always dusty and dirty, as I work on then, I take Eternabond tape and clean and tape any body/tub seam and all of out bays are pretty much dust free now.
