Camera System Question

Does anyone know, if Jayco ran the rear view camera cable through the ceiling or under the coach? If you do know, where and how can I find the cable?

Thanks

It might have been mine... but on our 2015 FK... I still do not know 100%... I am more inclined that it is running along the frame rails to the cab. but dont quote me on that.

Check at the bottom of the rear cap, I don't think they run any wires to the front in the ceiling, all the overhead lights and speakers are routed to the rear cap and up to the roof structure. I have a wire bundle that comes from the roof equipment, tv antennas, lights, ac and fan that run down the rear cap and enters in the bottom of the bedroom cabinets, this then runs to the front of the bedroom electrical panel and then drops down into the wet bay and continues forward to the front entertainment area and other items in my 37ts.

According to the electrical diagram I got from Jayco the rear view camera is run through the same harness as the marker lights and connects into Roof Harness B. It looks like everything eventually runs down into the main 12VDC harness.

I do not have Jayco's permission to post the diagram per their
copyright notice.

On my 2021 37TS it was run down the rear cap on the passenger side, along the passenger frame rail(in the main loom), crossed over the frame by the coach entry door, then followed the drivers frame rail (and joined the side view camera wire) and entered the cab under the drivers door.

On my coach the rear camera was not a voyager camera like the side cameras and I replaced it with a new camera and 70ft voyager camera wire. I had about 8’ extra which I coiled behind the rear cap. But that’s the closets length I could get.
