It’s for if you carry a portable dish unit like a Tailgater. Several people I know carry a portable unit in case trees are blocking the roof mounted dish.

X2 what Brian said. Also, if you are interested in using the “Sat” connection in Wetbay you probably will have to open up the panel where your antenna and satellite box are situated. On our 2018.5 37K this is in cabinet above the sink. I found that cable had been pulled from wetbay (satellite) but not connected to Sat 2 in cabinet. I used cable tone tracer to learn this. Also my Sat and Cable in wetbay were reversed as earlier posted. We bought a King portable satellite as our roof mounted Winegard T4 has never worked well. A twig will block the signal and I think its mounted to close to the A/C.
