Seneca side compartment door

Don't know if this is the right place for this but couldn't find answer in search.
So here goes I have 2 compartment on the side of my 08 34ss that don't want to swing out correctly. They seem to be not hooked on at the top hinge side. I can swing real high without the gas strut to try and reattach but the don't seem to hook on like they did. Can the top rolled aluminum door part of the hinge come loose? I am thinking the roll over the top has kind of unrolled part way.
Any had this happen?
