154BH propane issue (no flow at all)

We have a new 154BH and this is our 3rd time out. Our propane is full and I can’t get anything that uses it to work. When I turn in the stove there is absolutely no sound (airflow) at all. I’m also unable to light the hot water heater and when I try to switch the fridge over to propane the “check” light turns on. It’s obvious that I’m not getting and gas flow at all.
The last time we were out we had the same issue and I unhooked everything and let it sit for 15-20 minutes and then reconnected everything. That time it worked fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Close the vave(s) on your tanks and then open them very slowly. Tanks have a safety feature that will shut down the flow of gas if it senses a leak. A sudden rush of gas could be seen as a leak. Start with the basics and we can go from there.

If you have an auto switching regulator, make sure the tank the lever is pointing to is actually opened. Also, make sure your tanks actually have gas in them.

Yes. It is likely the safety valve has reduced the flow due to opening the propane tank valve TOO FAST (happens to lots of folks).

Close the valve(s) on the propane tank(s).
Open a stove burner valve (this drops the pressure in the supply lines).
Close the stove burner valve.

Open the propane tank valve(s) VERY SLOWLY.

Now try the stove again.

This must have been the problem!!! I opened it VERY slowly and was able to light the stove and move on to everything else. Thank you SOOOO much. I called the dealer and tried to troubleshoot and they were absolutely no help and not very friendly. I really appreciate it and it’s made our weekend much better!

This is why it's important to post problems and answers. You are rarely the only one with a particular problem....
