2011 Jayco SLX Swift 145RB TV Cable

Hello all, new to the site and we just bought this camper and I'm trying to figure out how I can connect the TV to external cable. Looking at the cable routing it appears that the cable goes to the roof antenna and there doesn't seem to be a way to connect to a external cable system. Am I missing something? What can I do to get this set up? Thanks! Kevin & Therese...

My 2017 195RB slx has no port for wired cable, only a tv antenna connection.

You could buy an exterior port and run it to a second wall plate for a connection somewhere inside.

amazon, JR Products 476-B-3-A Black Cable TV Plate 10.99$

Our 2013 145RB did not have a cable connection. I purchased a cable receptacle on Amazon. Ours was square with a flap, but I prefer the round receptacle like this one:

Prime Products 08-6208 White Receptacle Round Cable TV

I drilled a hole on the front lower left side of the trailer coming into the dining seat area. Caulked the receptacle and screwed to the aluminum siding. Inside I connected a cable cord and ran it up behind the cushion to the TV on the counter. I did not use an inside receptacle plate as it was all hidden where the cable comes into the trailer.

Easy to do and worked great.

Get cable plate (link below).
Drill hole, route wire to TV.
You can get a switch or unscrew tv cable and attach to outside cable. Switch makes it easier.
If you can't route the new cable in a hidden area, enter on the TV side of the door so you can run it along the baseboard.

OOps, sorry... Roger already said this....so, Ditto!
