2017 Whitehawk 27DSRL Storage Compartment Leak

Since Purchasing this unit new in 2017 we continue to water seeping into the front storage compartment whenever it rains. We have tried sealing all joints on the front of the ring and around the compartment doors and latches, yet continue to deal with having to dry out the compartment whenever it rains. Any insight to resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I sealed the front seam of my 24rks where the fiberglass meets the rock shield. Hope this helps.

Start on the roof and work your way down. Check seals around all the lights as well as joints. The water could be entering above and going down inside the wall before emerging in the storage compartment. We have not had this problem with our 27DSRL.

2017 Whitehawk 27DSRL Storage Compartment Leak

I fixed my leak by caulking the joint between two extrusions that are above the door and fixed to the wall. One is part of the hinge and the other the frame mounted to the wall. They look like one piece but are actually two.

I have a 2016 27DSRL, no leaks. May I suggest pulling the wood panel that is at the head of the bed between the two wardrobes? You might be able to see where your leak is.
