2020 264BHOK outside TV outlet dead

Hello! First post newb alert!

Just got a new to me Jayco Eagle 264BHOK. We love it so far.

As the title states, the outside TV outlet is dead, no power. Every single other outlet and 110 item that I have checked, works.

Hidden switch? I can only find one GFI and it is good. The other outside outlet is fine.

The outlet is daisychained and has two sets of wires going to it. I disconnected both sets from the outlet and it did not make a difference. Everything in the inside still works.

Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for the RV? I hope I’m missing something easy.

I was going to suggest looking for gfci ... still have to believe it is something along those lines

Unless there is one hiding. All other outlets including outside are working.

Check the outlet in the bathroom. Totally different model but that outlet gfci was the one that went outside on mine.

Only found one GFI, it is the bathroom. It is not tripped, all other outlets work.

You need a voltmeter to check the voltage on the wires. If you do not have voltage on one set of wires then you do have a 2nd GFI outlet and you will find other outlets that do not work. TV is an outside outlet and must be GFI'ed.

I pulled the outlet and check the wires. No voltage on either set of wires. There are two other exterior outlets and they work correctly. Cannot find a second GFI

pull the other 2 outlets and check for voltage on both sets of wires. I can guarantee you you will find a second outlet dead. 1 being the TV outlet and one being something the TV outlet feeds. anytime you see 2 set of wires that means that there are at least 3 outlets involved.

So I got with Jayco. They sent me a diagram showing all outlet locations and what breaker operates each set of outlets. While checking the outlets and wiring under the kitchen counter, I caught a romex barely protruding from the wall, not hooked up to anything. Turns out the run was too short to reach anything so they just didn’t hook it up. So I lengthened it, daisy chained it to a nearby outlet on the same breaker and now my TV outlet works. It wasn’t right from the factory.

You can call Jayco and they'll send you a wiring diagram.

That is crazy! Mine had the hose under the couch for the furnace not connected to the front vent. I thought that was funny but at least it wasn't electrical.
