2020 Jayflight 28BHS

We just got our new trailer trailer a week and a half ago. When hot outside, can't open back door. Front door stuck today. Anyone else experiencing this problem. Will call dealer in AM. Thanks

I’ve have issues with my 2017 jay flight Slx doors since day one. Talked to the dealer and they say Jayco only covers doors for 90 days. I’m also having issues with my stereo, awning, and biggest issue warm fridge. This will be the last Jayco I buy. Good luck.

Sometimes the seals stick, but no issues with my 2019 bhs. How do you like the 2020? Wonder what changes they made to the new model?

It's beyond the 2yr warranty so probably Jayco won't help unless you have the problems, and your dealer's inaction, documented. BTW, this is the first I've seen on this site of a 90 day warranty on doors, so IMO, it's likely your dealer was blowing smoke since day one. Unfortunately, there is a HUGE variation in dealers and their response to warranty issues.

Many people have experienced latch issues on different rigs. Seems that Jayco doesn't lubricate the strike plates or bolts, and this adds to the problem of door sticking.

Try lubricating both the grooved strike plates and the bolts on the doors with a good grease (not a spray like WD40) that will stay on the parts and see if that helps at all.

I have had issues with front door opening and closing with my 2014 28BHBE and the same with 2019 trailer. I have it on an un-level seasonal site and after setting it up, raising the right side of the trailer, I noticed that the frame sags causing the problem. Solution was supporting the frame under the door with jacks.
